My husband took the kids on another fishing-and-four-wheeling marathon yesterday in his hometown in Oklahoma.
The kids had always wanted (in an "I'm not scared, are you?" way) to walk the cemetery there - so this was their chance. Of course, all seriousness faded when they came upon this sign.
Ya just gotta wonder. What were they thinking?
Okay, it's Oklahoma - but still!

LOL that is pretty strange. reminds me of the only joke my kids ever knew. We drive by a cemetary and they always say People are just dying to get in there. It fits this sign.

THAT picture will soon be circling the internet. My friend sent me a picture of her little girl, baby and a black marker. I sent it to my family. And so on. I have gotten it back every six months or so...from different people.
Both true and funny!
That has to rank up there with "Duck crossing" (complete with pictures) and "traffic calming ahead" as the best street signs ever!

ha! Reminds me of my grandma, who can't pass a certain little cemetery in our town without saying, "Isn't that a pretty place? People are just dying to go there." Every time. You gotta love it. That sign is classic, though.

My dad used to ask us, "Do you know how many people in that cemetery are dead?"
"No," we'd reply in wide-eyed wonder at the rows upon rows of headstones and crosses.
"All of 'em!"
He got us every time!
