Finishing strong

I'm going to be lying low this week. I have some loose ends to tie up.

Mainly, I need to finish painting the little girls' room so they can let me get some sleep sleep in their own room this week. Can't wait to show you pics of the Pepto-Bismol pink HOT PINK that now graces half the walls of their room!

It's also time to start on taxes, write some thank-you notes, clear the debris from the weekend, and get myself geared up to take the little girls to swimming lessons (in addition to our regularly scheduled activities). And let's not forget the Beth Moore simulcast...

I hate to admit I am a better starter than I am a finisher, especially when it comes to tedious things like paperwork, sorting socks and going through minutiae. Finishing a paint job falls in this category, too. I am easily distracted, and the call of the computer is almost too great for me to handle...unless I just put it away for a while.

So, I'll be in and out this week, checking email and visiting some of you. Voting for many of you. And trying to finish what I've started...

Hmmm. Now, where's my list? What was I doing?

Oh that is totally me too! I've got all sorts of jobs I started and need to finish up!

Can hardly wait to see the "soothing" pink walls!

Katherine, when you mentioned Beth Moore simulcast, I got excited because I'll be attending this, too! I'm so looking forward to this!
(And I'll think of you, watching it with me at the same time!) :)

And yes, I'm also a better starter than finisher...glad to know I'm not the only one! :)

I wish I had a small amount of your togetherness....I know your laughing...but somedays when my kids are sick I feel I cant keep it together and this is frustrating....I have so many things I need to be doing right now and I'm blogging because it relaxes me.....thanks for keeping me going with your inspiring posts...

Sounds like a lot of busy things going on with you! I really want to see your girls rooms! We are beginning to redo some of our rooms and move everybody in preparation for number 5. I'd love to see what you did! I'm a little bit overwhelmed with thinking about adding a bedroom and bath for our oldest(upstairs) and painting and redoing all the children's bedrooms(and a couple of baths,too)...it will be a big job for us!!! Our Evie(4) will be sharing a room with our new baby. It will be pink and yellow.

Tedious things are just not fun. Unless you are painting - now that I like! Can I come over? :)

yeah, on that "finishing" part. I'm a great starter too, but I sure fizzle once the fun wears off. Wonder where I get that??
