I'm joinin' in the fun over at 5 Minutes for Mom

Yes, it's spring break and all, but that's no excuse not to join in on the party!

I'm always a day late and several blogposts short, but hey, I was only #541 on the Mr. Linky! It's not too late for YOU to join in with the rest of us latecomers.

There are some really interesting folks on that list - I saw my friend Kilikina at Live Each Moment, and Chrystal's Inspirational Blog, Chappy's Wife, and even one of my favorite authors, Mary DeMuth from relevantblog. And (don't miss this!) my sister, Rachel Anne, an extraordinary artist, is donating a prize!

If this is your first time visiting my blog, welcome! I'm a mom of five kids: four girls, ages 13, 9, 5 and 3; and one son, 12. When I'm not cooking, doing laundry, or cleaning up crusty cheerios from my kitchen floor (and sometimes even when I am), I try to blog about my life. It's not glamorous, but it's real, and made possible only by a great deal of grace. And obviously, by a husband who has an incredible sense of humor and low expectations for perfection, since he's hung in there with me in this crazy life for over 21 years!

So get comfy, put your feet up, and stay a while!

I'm a so glad you came.

Wow, I'm the first to comment! Great profile picture of your darling family and I loved your descriptor about everything being "real." Believe me, reality is all I know how to live these days. ;-)

Welcome to the party!

It's so good to see another large family. People really look at you funny when you cross the line with the 5th child. Plus it's hard to find something to drive! I drive a suburban and we're maxed out now. Guess it's the church van next, ha! Stop and visit me. I enjoyed reading about your family.

Hi Katherine! I beleive I've stopped by your blog in the past, but it's good to see you at the party. :)

I really like your theme. I only have 1 baby so far, but I love reading stories from Moms with large families.
I find it sad that my parents came from larger families, but none of my aunts or uncles had more than 4 kids...

Anyway, happy blog-surfing!!!

Hey sis! A party is always more fun when we are together! I didn't get any food together for the party, but there are quesadilla makings in the fridge and PB&J for the kids. What more do you need?
