We started off a little crazy, but things have calmed down some.
Over the weekend we got to visit with my sister and two brothers, and their families. Since it's rare we all get together (22 of us), we had decided ahead of time to take some photos at my sister Rachel's lil' patch o' heaven - ten acres complete with woods, creek, field, and pasture (go to her site and check out her pictures of Flash, the donkey!). As usual, we stayed way too late, but it was worth it!
Here's our 5-year-old with a cousin.
What else...hmm...
It's done nothing but rain here this month, but since it's technically "summer" we made our obligatory visit to the pool.
Our cereal selection has sunk to all-time lows.

(Five year old took the pic so it's not that clear, but believe me, they are RAZOR SHARP!)!
Well, once my cheeks get used to it (and my family gets used to my spitting on them) I'll be ready for Week Two!

Aww, they look like they had fun. I miss going on family outings and other summer activities when I was younger. Had some really fun times. Those will be good memories to look back on.
Ok so I have been reading your blog (through my bloglines) but I guess I haven't been commenting because I totally didn't notice you went blonde! I love it!
School doesn't get out here until mid-June. It's so fun to read about your foray into summer already - reminds me of home when I was young - the lazy, crazy last days of May. Such cute pictures.
I have a soft spot in my heart for other ladies with braces. I have Invisaligns, which aren't as painful. But for the first couple of days after I put on a new set, taking them on and off is pretty unpleasant.
But we Moms with orthodontia are the coolest, imo.
Goodness, but those are some gorgeous kids!
Congrats on making it through the first week. Your cereal assortment looks fine compared to mine; it was zilch until BD went to the store for me last night and picked some up.
Have a great second week!
What a nice looking family!
Beautiful Family you've got there!
