Sympathy fever

Last week Ruthie (3) had a little virus, and Annie (6) took good care of her.
This weekend, Annie was even sicker with high fevers. Ruthie knew just what to do, bringing her water, cool washcloths, and keeping her company.

Don't you think everyone needs a sympathy buddy?

This picture is precious. There is nothing sweeter than seeing your children caring for one another.

Regardless of how my chidlren can yell and argue with each other, the ribbon that binds their hearts is love. I have a picture on my blog that shows my two youngest children writing sentences for their older brother. We must be doing something right!?!

See, now I've been doing it wrong. When one of mine has a fever (or pink eye right now) I "quarantine" them so the others don't get it.

I feel like such a mean Mommy now. :>)

At least quarantine is in my bed with lots of stuffed animals and sprite and...uhm...yes, TV.
