No, I'm not posting today.
But my dear friend Susanne at Living To Tell the Story has posted a few tips for how she "does" her day, as she cares for six (count 'em) preschoolers in her dayhome.
She and I share the love of routine, especially for little ones. With bigger ones, routine is a little more loosely defined, like, "WHENEVER we eat dinner, everyone helps," as opposed to "Dinner is at 6:00 p.m."
Either way, routine makes kids (and husbands) feel secure, helps define work and play times, and helps spread out work into "do-able" chunks. Who doesn't want that?
Go tell Susanne how much you love her!
