Gracious, I am NOT doing well, what with not having internet access 24/7. This working thing is really putting a cramp in my style. That, and our ENTIRE FAMILY has felt crummy for two weeks straight (our doctor thought Allie-15 might have mono, that's how bad it was). But no. Just viral junk that makes you not feel like doing anything, but if you go to bed you can't sleep. Yeah.
ANYHOO. Back to blogging here.
Finally uploaded some pics from Easter weekend at my parents'. I appreciate them more with each passing year, and I'm so glad they live close enough to see more often now. (Annie-7 is MIA in this photo...at a sleepover with a cousin). Yes, Mom, I took my vitamins.
Since my landscaping budget has been scalped lately, I am going the cheap route of mail-order "plants." I use the term loosely, as the nursery would probably not sell much if they advertised that they would be sending you a pile of sticks.
Yes, in a few years these will be BUSHES, but in the meantime, I am just happy to see this: This, my friends, is a leaf bud on what is to be a beautiful weigela! Will keep you posted on their progress. We are all getting into the Africa spirit. Even Neal-14 's omelet.
Ginger likes to chew.
In my lack-of-internet times, taking care of really sick babies at work, I've been thinking a lot about how God is in control but it never seems to look like it, or about how my definition of His Providence is quite narrow, defined by my own circumstances, rather than by His grace. He is infinitely good, but do I recognize it (or give Him glory) when I see His work in my life?
But more on that after laundry.
