It&#39;s a Flint Stainless Steel Vanadium, as well, though a slightly different model. I have the block full of Miracle Blades (for the roommate&#39;s use), and my Cutco&#39;s for the big kitchen work, but the Flint is the one I keep loving more and more as I age. A great size, still cuts great (never been sharpened, unlike my Cutco&#39;s), and the wooden handle has acquired that great glass-smooth finish that only years of hand-rubbing can imbue (I usually only wash the blade). Every knife I pick up at anyone else&#39;s house now gets measured against The Knife, and many appear similar, but they all fall flat. The blade is wonderful but the wooden handle is starting to disintegrate.
